I have been breeding Curly horses for about 10 years now and I have been more than happy with my flagship stallion *Sandman’s Magic. However, I do know that new blood is needed in a breeding program and I have kept my eyes open for a stallion that I think could be the next generation of Curly, one that could compliment my SM babies and also be of exceptional quality to offer at stud. Curly/Arab gelding with ...

If someone is looking for a strong, yet personable horse to do some work - this is the boy - with his half Arab breeding he is full of energy and will be able to work all day. He will also be very suitable for endurance IMO. He is "very" Curly too!

*CNC Joeseph King of Dreams is a 13 year old Curly/Arabian cross, he stands 15.1hh and is a big and beautiful mover. His sire is *Ne Hi Majic (he who was out of our *Chip's Barefoot Babe) and *Joe's dam is a purebred Arabian mare.

*Joe is well started under saddle, has had a lot of ground training and walk/trot riding - he loves to work, wonders why we humans took so long to put him into service! *Joe adores people and will come along well, he just finished 30 days with our western trainer (pictured, December 2011) and he will now start 30+ days with our eventing trainer. He will be very suitable for trail riding or endurance or quite possibly dressage, he is a horse that has potential in a lot of areas. Bred mare, lovely true ...

KH Lacey 2004 s/c Curly mare, she is a from a Curly sire and her dam was a Hanovarien/QH.

DKH Lacey is ICHO registered, and she stands 16hh, she is a true black.

2011 Lacey produced the lovely, BIG, Curly filly *Shantilly Lace (sold before weaning). *Shantilly is quite gorgeous - she has the size, the movement, the conformation and of course the curls!

I will consider selling Lacey to the right home. She is bred back to my stallion *Sandman's Magic for a 2012 foal and will be offered as a two for one package - asking $3000.00, terms always available. These larger Curly mares are very hard to come by - Lacey is big, bold and beautiful!

Lacey is on this page as she is of age to put into training. She had very little handling when I got her two years ago, but she has come along very well. She likes people and loves to have her face rubbed. I believe once she gains a bit more confidence in people her training will come along well. My plan is to continue working with her and her price will increase to reflect that.

RARE - big black ...

*Chrystal Bloom, DOB May 21, 2008, a Curly/Percheron mare that was born here at my farm. Her sire is the well known Curly stallion *BNC Custer's Kid and her dam is our (now deceased) mare Midnight Bloom

*Chrystal is currently 16hh and 1500 + lbs, I expect her to get another couple of inches and another couple hundred pounds at maturity. *Chrystal has the expected calm and placid dispostion of the Curly and also the Percheron. She is extra easy going and very easy to handle, she will begin her saddle training in the spring of 2012 and I am sure it will be easy and fun for both of us!

These big Curlies are hard to find and in a draft type horse there are literally only a handful of them in existance today.

I am currently asking $8000.00 for *Chrystal, this will include 60 days training and could also include a breeding to any of our three Curly stallions if desired. Terms always available on my horses.
Black Beauty! Lovely Big ...

*Sam I Am is our 2010 fullbred Curly filly. Her sire is our Curly Sporthorse stallion *Sandman's Magic and her dam is our wonderful Curly mare *Spar's Barefoot Contessa.
*Sam currently stands just about 14.2hh on the wither, she is just a yearling! This is going to be a tall girl. She has the moves, the looks and the athletic ability to do dressage.
