MCH Goldie is an inquisitive 2003 curly mare.  She was born out at Joe Mead's place, and is a classic example of Joe's breeding style.  True to form, Goldie has very tough hooves that are self-trimming, with no cracks for splits.  She is a very easy keeper, and grows a hardy winter very-curly coat each year.  Goldie has nice western/stock type conformation, and carries herself well.  She stands 15.1hh and should produce large-sized foals, if someone wanted her for a broodmare.  Wtih some time & training Goldie would also make a dedicated riding horse.  She is very friendly & curious, and truly enjoys being worked with.  She is more than happy to follow you around the pasture and stands quietly for grooming and fly wipes.  I've been able to touch her all over; she's not marish at all, and I have started working on her picking up her feet, starting with the fronts.  She's happy as long as you are spending time with her.  She will walk off-lead with you all over the pasture, on either side, and stops when you stop. 
Goldie is used to our dog & cats being around her feet, and is partial to foals.  She is a good babysitter, and will often "park" herself by a foal & watch over it while it's mother is grazing nearby. 
Ideally I would like her to go to a home where she will continue being worked with.  She's too nice of a horse to be put out in a pasture & only used for breeding.  (I think she'd make a great broodmare, with her size, conformation, color, and bloodlines, but KNOW that she'd make an awesome riding horse too.)  Goldie is trained to lead, load, stand tied, and willl stand quietly for shots & worming.  She really is a nice horse to work with and catches on quickly.

I have a pony mare, Nightfall, who will be 4 in June. I have had her saddled and have ridden her a couple of times bareback with a bridle. She will load in a trailer, and give you her feet and let you trim them. I have not had shoes on her. She is 14 hands dark bay with a white fore foot. Her sire is a red dun sabino Curly mustang named Cactus Pete. He was never registered but his dam is Desert Rose a straight foundation Bashkir Curly and BLM mustang and his sire is Eagles Wing, also Bashkir Curly and mustang.

I don't have the time to train her properly. She needs a firm hand because she is bossy and wants her own way. She has light curls in the winter and waves in places in the summer. Rose and Cactus are gaited. I can't tell if Nightfall is or not for sure. Her "trot" is atypical but I don't know what you would call it. The fore diagonal hits just a fraction later than the rear. She moves nicely. Her mother was a Arab/Welsh cross and she "floats" like her when she moves.

Her curls don't photograph well but I got some pictures after she had been rolling in the dirt that highlighted the hair and made them more visible.

She is not registered yet but I am working on the papers. I would like $500 for her.

*Willie 3 YO bay curly gelding

Curly cross gelding (green) broke to ride and drive for sale. Born April 27, 2005.  
Willie is a 3 yr old bay with black mane and tail (red highlights in summer)with black socks. Willie is 1/2 Bashkir curly, 1/4 quater & 1/4 standerdbred (amish buggy horse). Willie stands 15.1 hh now but he will keep growing until he reaches 5-6 yrs old (he could possibly reach 16+ hh???)
His father is a full Bashkir curly stud named *Kreskin ICHO-26D; ABC-26D; AFTHBA 86-F-8039(homozygous-curly, 15 hh, chestnut minimal-sabino; gaited) owned by Richardson's Curly Horse Ranch.
His mother is a grade 1/2 quarter, 1/2 standardbred mare.
{I was told Willie can still be registered with the curly horse association if you choose to even though he is a gelding and not full curly. ???}
Willie has been raised around draft horses and small children. He is easy to work with and has a very loving personality. My 5 yr old granddaughter sits on him all the time and has been doing so since Willie was a couple of months old. He has been started in harness and saddle. He is green broke to both now and we will continue to work with him until he is sold. The nylon driving harness (blue across the chest) he is pictured in is included and I also have a 3-wheel cart I use with him that I am willing to part with if you are interested.

Jetter is a 2 year old curly pony stud colt, he would make an excellent pony stud.  He is built like a tank!  He has a crushed velvet coat most of the year.  He is a real character, always showing off and vying for attention! Jetter is out of a welch pony mare X Velvet Blues (Blue is a blue roan Lp gene who is a cross of warrior and Damele/Aishihik bloodlines).
